Larson's Landing respectfully acknowledges that we are located on the traditional ancestral and contemporary homeland of the Mdewakanton Dakota and other Indigenous sovereign nations. We are grateful for the people who have stewarded this sacred land throughout the generations, including the Prairie Island Indian Community (Tinta Wita).

Larson's Landing (affectionately called 'LaLa') is designed to be a unique eco-conscious space where community, creativity, and sustainability come together.

  • Larson’s Landing Lakes: A Gateway to Nature and Recreation

    Larson Lake

    Nestled near the southern tip of Prairie Island, Larson Lake is a serene gem within the Mississippi River's backwater system. Its calm waters provide a haven for wildlife and an inviting space for kayaking, birdwatching, and peaceful reflection.


    Goose Lake

    Located northwest of Larson Lake, Goose Lake enhances the area's ecological diversity. Its tranquil surroundings are perfect for fishing, with ample opportunities to spot native waterfowl and other aquatic life.


    Wildcat Lake

    Positioned northeast of Goose Lake, Wildcat Lake is a vibrant part of the interconnected waterways. Ideal for paddling enthusiasts, this lake offers a close-up view of the thriving riverine ecosystem.


    Birch Lake
